The sages praised Lord Varaha, the divine Boar incarnation, who rescued Mother Earth from the cosmic ocean. This stuti reveals His form as the embodiment of all Yajñas (sacrifices) and Vedic principles.
- Victory to You, O Ajita! We bow to You, the Supreme Sacrifice, from whom all creation arises. In every pore of Your body dwell sacred rites and mantras.
- Your divine form is incomprehensible to the impure; Your skin is the Vedas, Your hair the sacred grass, Your eyes the offering, Your feet the fire altar.
- Your tusks are ladles, nostrils the spoons, ears the vessels, mouth the altar, and Your act of chewing is the Agnihotra sacrifice.
- Your tongue is the ritual offering, Your head the altar’s summit, Your breath the sacred fires — You are the very essence of every sacrifice.
