Welcome to Bhaktiya. By accessing or using our website (www.bhaktiya.com) and mobile applications (Bhaktiya iOS App and Bhaktiya Android App), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Services

Bhaktiya provides a platform for accessing Hindu devotional content including:

• Stotras, mantras, and prayers in multiple Indian languages
• Ashtottara Shatanamavali (108 names) of various deities
• Sahasranama (1000 names) texts
• Sahasranamavali collections
• Devotional articles and spiritual content
• Panchang (Hindu calendar) information
• Festival dates and timings
• Audio and video devotional content

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

Some features of our services require you to create an account. You may register using your email address or through social login providers (Google, Apple, Facebook). You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may also request deletion of your account by contacting us.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the services or servers

The content on Bhaktiya, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and software, is the property of Bhaktiya or its content providers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Sacred Texts

Many of the stotras, mantras, and devotional texts on our platform are ancient sacred scriptures that are part of the public domain. Our compilation, presentation, translations, and additional content are protected by our intellectual property rights.

5.3 Personal Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our services and content for personal, non-commercial devotional purposes. You may download and print content for personal spiritual practice. Commercial use, redistribution, or modification of our content requires written permission.

6. User-Generated Content

If you submit any content (comments, reviews, or other materials) to our platform:

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content
• You represent that you have the right to submit such content
• You agree not to submit content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any rights

We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content at our discretion.

7. Mobile Application Terms

7.1 App Store Terms

If you download our mobile application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you also agree to the terms and conditions of those platforms. These Terms are between you and Bhaktiya only, and not with Apple or Google.

7.2 Device Permissions

Our mobile apps may request certain permissions (location, microphone, notifications, storage). These permissions are used solely for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. Granting these permissions is optional, but some features may not work without them.

7.3 Offline Content

Downloaded content is for personal use only and may not be redistributed, resold, or used for commercial purposes.

8. Third-Party Content and Links

Our services may contain links to third-party websites, videos (YouTube), or other content. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and conditions.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BHAKTIYA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use our services
• Any errors or omissions in the content
• Any unauthorized access to your data
• Any third-party content or conduct

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bhaktiya and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
