Sri Varaha Stuti

Devas said:

The gods offered this hymn in praise of Lord Yajña Varaha — the Boar incarnation of Vishnu — who lifted the Earth from the cosmic ocean.

• Meaning:

1. Salutations to You, O Yajña Varaha! O thousand-armed Lord, God of gods, of infinite cosmic form — we bow to You, protector of the worlds.
2. You are the embodiment of sustenance, the essence of all sacrifices, the controller of Time — the measure of moments and ages.
3. We bow to You, the soul of all beings, the form of the Ṛg Veda, the divine essence of the gods, and the personification of the Sāma Veda.
4. You are the sacred Om, the embodiment of the Yajur Veda, the living essence of all four Vedas — our salutations to You again and again.
5. You are the form of the Vedas and Vedāṅgas, complete with all divine limbs; O Govinda, beginningless and endless, we bow to You.
6. Knower of the Vedas, the Supreme Being beyond all duality, Lord of Lakshmi and Bhūdevi, Father of the Universe — salutations unto You.
