1.    Sage Lomaharshana said: “O Lord of Lords, origin of the universe, unborn yet the source of all! You are eternal, the giver of boons, the supreme Hari.”
    2.    “You are the Lord of all lords, the teacher of teachers, and the master of creation, preservation, and dissolution. To sustain the universe, You entered Aditi’s womb — inconceivable indeed.”
    3.    “You are the beginningless and endless Supreme Being who descended as the son of Aditi to protect the three worlds.”
    4.    “Neither Rudra, Brahma, Indra, the Sun, nor the Moon can fathom Your form — O Vasudeva, who incarnated as Vamana, I bow to You.”
    5.    “The knowers of the Vedas call You the imperishable Brahman; those purified by knowledge enter You and are freed forever from rebirth. To that Vasudeva, I bow.”
    6.    “From You all beings arise and into You they dissolve, just as waves merge back into the ocean. O inconceivable Vishnu, I bow to You.”
    7.    “Your form, strength, and glory are beyond comprehension even to Brahma and the greatest gods. I worship You eternally.”
    8.    “The eyes, tongue, skin, and other senses cannot perceive You, for You are beyond them — the self-effulgent Supreme.”
    9.    “You are the highest truth, the Lord of all, attainable through wisdom and devotion. I bow to You, the spotless and eternal Hari.”
    10.    “You who lifted the Earth upon a single tusk, who devours and sustains the worlds — I bow to You, the Supreme Vishnu.”
    11.    “O infinite Lord, who destroys the power of mighty demons and cuts the bondage of worldly existence — I bow to You.”
    12.    “Entering the womb of Aditi, You absorbed the strength of the great demons and restored the power of the gods — O great soul Vamana, I bow to You.”
