Sri Shiva Rama Ashtakam

Sri Shiva Rama Ashtakam is a beautiful hymn praising the divine friendship, unity, and grace of Lord Shiva and Lord Rama. It expresses how both deities work together for the protection, upliftment, and liberation of all beings. The devotee seeks refuge in Shiva and Rama as the ultimate sources of compassion, victory, and liberation from suffering.

The stotram begins by invoking Shiva—the remover of the threefold sufferings—and Rama, the Lord who protects dharma and offers divine refuge.
