Sri Kali Pratah Smarana Stotram

The Kali Pratah Smarana Stotram is a sacred morning hymn that invokes the compassionate yet powerful presence of Goddess Kali. The first verse visualizes her with reddish, radiant eyes—fierce yet overflowing with grace. She is the cosmic mother who nurtures and protects all beings, the source from which creation rises and into which all dissolves. Her heart is full of compassion for those who remember her at dawn.

The second verse praises Dakshina Kali, adorned with serpents, the daughter of the mountains, gentle and divine. Her eyes are filled with mercy, blessing devotees with fearlessness and boons.
