Sri Vishnu Stavanam

I bow to Lord Vishnu — the ancient Being, the protector of humanity, the man-lion with lotus-like eyes and strong arms, whose lotus-feet are adored by kings and sages alike.

To the Lord of the universe, dwelling in the milk ocean, holding the bow Sharnga, worshipped by sages, consort of Lakshmi, radiant as countless suns — to Govinda, the infinite glory, I bow.

To the unborn, supreme, remover of sorrow, ancient teacher, Purushottama, radiant Achyuta — I bow with devotion to Hari, the primal Madhava.

To the Lord of the earth, Lord of beings, cause of all causes, witness of the three worlds’ actions — I bow to Hari, the supreme refuge of the pious.

To the primeval Lord resting upon the ocean of milk, drenched with the spray of its waves — to Srinivasa, Keshava, I offer my salutations.

To the infinite, imperceptible, beyond the senses, ever abiding in His own forms, worshipped by Yogeshvaras — I bow to Janardana with steady devotion.

To the blissful, stainless, eternal Being, worshipped by sages in Vrindavana, dear to devotees, smaller than the smallest yet greater than the greatest — to that beloved Lord Hari, I bow forever.
