Dhyānam:
I bow to Lord Vishnu — the tranquil One, resting on the serpent couch, lotus-naveled, ruler of the gods, boundless like the sky, cloud-hued, consort of Lakshmi, lotus-eyed, the refuge of yogis, and destroyer of worldly fear.

1️⃣ Guardians of Directions:
May Lord Hari protect me in the east, the Chakra-bearing Vishnu in the west, Krishna in the south, and Sri Vishnu in the north.

2️⃣ Body Protection:
Let the joyous Lord guard me above, the wielder of the bow (Sharnga) below, lotus-footed Lord at my feet, and Janardana guard my calves.

3️⃣ Divine Defense:
Let Jagannatha guard my knees, Trivikrama my thighs, Hrishikesha my secret parts, and the immutable Vishnu guard my back.

4️⃣ Heart and Torso:
Let Ananta protect my navel, the demon-slayer my stomach, Damodara my heart, and Narasimha my chest.

5️⃣ Arms and Shoulders:
May Kaliya’s conqueror guard my hands, the remover of devotees’ pain my arms, the dark cloud-hued Lord my neck, and Kamsa’s destroyer my shoulders.
