Sri Vishnu Ashtakam

1️⃣ I bow to Lord Vishnu, whose lotus-red eyes radiate cosmic brilliance, adored by Brahma, eternal and beyond measure — the origin and refuge of all beings.

2️⃣ To the auspicious Lord, bestower of desires, embodiment of mercy, destroyer of Kali’s evils, treasure of divine qualities, beloved consort of Lakshmi — I offer my worship.

3️⃣ Clad in yellow silk, radiant like a bee-hued cloud, adored by Brahma and the gods, adorned with crown and jewels — I bow to Sri Keshava.

4️⃣ Reclining on the serpent bed, Lord of the universe, taking incarnations for the world’s welfare — ever charming Mukunda, I adore You.

5️⃣ Shining on the ocean of milk, eternal and self-luminous, praised by the Vedas, destroyer of the demon Kesi — I worship that lotus-naveled Lord.

6️⃣ Destroyer of devotees’ sorrow, ever worshipped by sages, remover of bondage, supreme refuge, lotus-eyed savior — to You I bow.

7️⃣ O Narayana, fire to the forest of demons, timeless, unchanging, assuming infinite forms to lighten the burden of Earth — I praise You.

8️⃣ O Keshava, giver of boons, adored by Narada and the wise — I bow at Your feet again and again, surrendering my soul.

Phalashruti:
Whoever chants this sacred Vishnu Ashtakam with devotion is freed from all sins and attains the eternal abode of Lord Vishnu.
