Dharma Shastha Stotram

    1.    Dharma, the foundation of the universe, is protected by Lord Dharma Shastha, whom I always seek refuge in.
    2.    The sacred Sringeri Peeth, founded by Sri Shankaracharya (an incarnation of Shiva), is adorned by great saints.
    3.    In that lineage, the illustrious Vidyasudheerta Swami, rich in knowledge and austerity, set out to behold Lord Dharma Shastha.
    4.    The protector of Dharma, the great Yati, beholds the very Lord of Dharma – their union is surely for the welfare of the world.
    5.    Though Kali Yuga is tainted with impurities, the Vedic Dharma still stands firm, for the ever-venerated Lord Shastha is its protector.
    6.    Knowledge is obtained by Subrahmanya’s grace, liberation through Vishnu’s blessings, yet both are easily attained only by the mercy of Hari-Hara’s son, Lord Shastha.
    7.    Yogis, disciplined by Yama and Niyama, ever meditate upon the Lord Shastha, the sustainer of all worlds, in their hearts.
    8.    Residing in Sabarimala, worshipped by all worlds, giver of bliss to devotees, remover of sorrow, adored by Devas, granter of heaven and liberation—may Lord Dharma Shastha always bestow auspiciousness.
