Sri Mahalakshmi Kavacham

“O Lord! Among all divine armors, which one grants supreme protection, health, and prosperity? Please reveal it.”

2️⃣ Guru said:
“The Mahalakshmi Kavacham — the secret armor revealed by Lord Brahma — protects beings across the fourteen worlds.”

3️⃣ Brahma said:
“May Vishnu’s consort protect my head, may the Amrita-born Goddess guard my forehead. May Her wide eyes protect my vision, and the ocean-born Goddess guard my ears.”

4️⃣ “May the exalted Goddess guard my sense of smell, and the embodiment of the Vedas guard my tongue. May Mahalakshmi protect my face and the Vaikuntha-dwelling Goddess protect my throat.”

5️⃣ “May Janaki protect my shoulders, Bhargava’s daughter guard my arms, and Dravini (bestower of wealth) protect my hands.”

6️⃣ “May Sri Devi guard my chest, Hari’s beloved my heart, Vaishnavi my abdomen, and Bhuvanamātṛka protect my navel.”

7️⃣ “May Varahi guard my waist, Deva-Devi protect my thighs, Narayani guard my knees, and Chandra’s sister my calves.”

8️⃣ “May Indira protect my legs, the merciful Goddess my whole body, and Tejasvini guard my nails.”

9️⃣ “This armor, created by Lord Brahma for the protection of all beings, grants blessings and fortune to those who recite it.”

10️⃣ “Those shielded by this kavacham are always victorious, blessed, and prosperous — O Mother of the gods, protect us like a compassionate mother.”

11️⃣ “By chanting the three divine names — Lakshmi, Haripriya, and Padma — one attains ultimate wealth and fortune.”

12️⃣ “He who recites this kavacham attains virtue, fulfills desires, and gains divine grace.”
