Sri Kartikeya Panchakam

1. I bow to Lord Kartikeya — whose pure lotus feet are known to the Vedas and Vedanta, my family’s divine guide, lover of music and dance, ocean of virtues, relative of Lord Ranganatha, and adored by Brahma.
2. Born of Shiva’s radiance in the forest of reeds, source of yogic power, master of devotees’ hearts, embodiment of sweetness and compassion, essence of sacred mantras — I worship that Kartikeya.
3. Beloved bee hovering near the lotus face of Devasena, son of the moon-crowned Shiva, benefactor of the worlds, giver of knowledge, charming as the full moon, Lord of Valli, embodiment of the Hreem mantra — I adore Him.
4. Born of Mahadeva, manifested in Saravana, the blissful essence of divine sound, beyond all attributes, worshiped by the gods, dwelling in Guhagiri, Lord of Valli — I meditate upon that Kartikeya in my heart.
5. Eternal, stainless, the giver of all boons, embodiment of Brahman, worshiped by the gods, established in unwavering yoga, pure bliss itself, the formless Lord of Lords — I ever bow to that Kartikeya, my divine Guru.
6. Whoever recites or listens to this Kartikeya Panchakam with devotion shall, by His grace, attain the fulfillment of all desires.
