Sri Kamakshi Stotram (Paramacharya Krutam)

1.    O Kamakshi, auspicious-faced and ever-auspicious One!—O Mother of Guruguha (Subrahmanya), bestow welfare upon us, O Mother born of the celestial elephant!
    2.    Daughter of the Himalayan King, dwelling in my heart, compassionate to the virtuous—grant us goodness, O Kamakshi!
    3.    Adored by planets, giver of children and domestic happiness—renew our fortune through every birth.
    4.    Praised by Shiva himself, bestower of worldly joy—shower your grace across lifetimes, O Kamakshi!
    5.    Destroyer of the burning sorrow in devotees’ hearts, giver of auspiciousness—grant us serenity.
