Sri Apaduddharaka Hanuman Stotram

This sacred Apaduddaraka Hanuman Stotram was composed by King Vibhishana. It is a divine hymn invoking Hanuman’s power to remove dangers, fears, and misfortunes — “Āpada Uddāraka” meaning “the remover of calamities.”

9–10. Those who remember Hanuman in prisons, battles, journeys, forests, or dangers of any kind — no harm can ever befall them.

11–12. Remembering Him morning and evening grants wealth, success, and fame — without doubt.

13. Reciting this stotra weekly ensures victory in courts, assemblies, and conflicts.

14. Whoever recites this hymn by Vibhishana with devotion is freed from all calamities — beyond doubt.

15. Mantra:

Markatesha Mahotsaha Sarva-shoka-nivāraka,

Shatrūn samhara māṃ rakṣa śriyaṃ dāpaya bho hare.

— “O mighty Hanuman! Remove all grief, destroy my enemies, protect me, and bestow prosperity.”
