Hanuman namaskara

The Hanuman Namaskara Stotram is a devotional praise of Lord Hanuman, highlighting his unmatched strength, wisdom, unwavering devotion to Lord Rama, and his divine power to remove obstacles and protect devotees. Each verse glorifies a specific divine quality or heroic deed.

The first verse bows to the mighty Hanuman who possesses limitless strength, a golden radiant body, the power to burn demons like fire, the foremost among the wise, the leader of the Vanaras, and the dearest devotee of Lord Rama.
The second verse praises him who made the ocean seem like a puddle and reduced demons to insects, calling him the shining jewel of the Ramayana.
The third verse remembers him as the son of Anjana, destroyer of sorrow, slayer of Aksha, and the terror of Lanka.
The fourth verse praises his intellect, comparing it to a Mandara mountain stirring the vast ocean of grammar, spreading the glory of Sri Rama.
The fifth recalls how he crossed the ocean playfully, removed Sita’s sorrow, and burned Lanka with the same fire of devotion.
The sixth verse glorifies him as swift as the mind, faster than the wind, conqueror of senses, the wisest, chief of the Vanaras, and the beloved messenger of Rama.
The seventh verse contemplates his beautiful red face, golden radiance, and presence under the wish-fulfilling Parijata tree.
The eighth verse praises his devotion so deep that wherever Rama’s name is sung, Hanuman appears with folded hands and eyes overflowing with divine tears of love.
