Delete your Bhaktiya account
Deleting your account is permanent. Stotras, the panchanga and every other Bhaktiya feature stay available without an account.
Option 1 — In the app (immediate)
- Open Bhaktiya on iPhone or Android, and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete my account permanently.
- Sign in again with Google or Apple to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
Option 2 — On the web
Submit the account deletion request form, or email support@bhaktiya.com from the email address on your account. If you used Apple “Hide My Email”, write from that relay address or include it in the message. We verify that the account is yours and complete the deletion within 7 days, then confirm by email. Never send us a password or sign-in code.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account: name, email, profile picture and user ID
- Your comments, ratings and Ask AI questions and answers
- Your registered push-notification tokens
- For Sign in with Apple accounts, Bhaktiya’s access at Apple is revoked
- On the phone where you delete it, the app also clears saved stotras and festival or vratha reminders. On other devices, uninstall the app or clear its data.
What is retained, and for how long
- Encrypted database backups: deleted data leaves them within 30 days.
- Server logs (IP address, time, URL): deleted within 30 days. They are not linked to your account.
- Website analytics (Google Analytics): aggregate and not linked to your account; kept for 14 months.
- Legal records: kept only if the law requires it, and only for as long as it requires.
- Your city and settings were only ever stored on your device. We never had them.
